KreativaLab is a Belgrade-based civil society organization dedicated to the ethical, fair, and sustainable integration of digital technologies into culture, creative industries, and civic life. Our mission is to support innovation in culture and creative industries, fostering values such as digital rights, ethical governance, open knowledge, and civic innovation.
We work at the intersection of digital transformation and cultural heritage, producing research, tools, and capacity-building programs that empower artists, cultural professionals, and CSOs to navigate an increasingly AI-shaped landscape. KreativaLab collaborates with national and international partners, and is committed to making digital civic space more inclusive, transparent, and rights-centered.
Our current flagship initiative, the Safeguard-DH project (2025–ongoing), addresses responsible digitalization and ethical AI governance in the cultural sector across Serbia and the Western Balkans.
